Terms and conditions

Terms applying to orders placed through the Clos Saint Conti online shop. This draft must be legally reviewed before payment goes live.

The seller is SCEA Clos Saint Conti, a French agricultural civil company with a share capital of €7,500, whose registered office is located at 1292 chemin de Beauvezet, 34570 Montarnaud, France. The cellar is located at 1001 route de Pignan, 34570 Murviel-lès-Montpellier.

Products and prices

Products are wines and estate selections. Product pages display key available information such as name, appellation, volume, alcohol percentage, format, VAT-inclusive price and stock.

Prices are shown in euros including VAT, excluding shipping unless otherwise stated. Checkout totals are recalculated server-side.

Alcohol and legal age

The sale of alcohol is prohibited to persons under 18. By placing an order, the customer confirms being legally allowed to buy alcohol.

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health and should be consumed in moderation. The website does not target minors.

Orders

Orders are placed without a customer account. Required details include full name, email, phone, billing address, shipping address where applicable and age confirmation.

The estate may refuse or cancel an order in the event of incomplete information, suspected fraud, unavailable stock, manifest pricing error or legal impossibility.

Payment

Online payment is processed by SumUp Ltd. (SumUp.com), a registered and authorised payment service provider. The website does not store full card details.

An order is confirmed only after payment confirmation from SumUp. Stock is decremented after payment confirmation.

Stock, pickup and delivery

Stock is managed strictly. The customer cannot buy more than the available stock validated by the server.

Pickup is available at the winery at 1001 route de Pignan, 34570 Murviel-lès-Montpellier, by prior arrangement. National shipping in France is available for eligible orders; orders are dispatched within 7 business days of payment confirmation, and shipping is free from €200 of purchase. Fees are shown before payment.

Withdrawal and returns

Under article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, consumers generally have 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, subject to legal exceptions.

Returned bottles must be unopened and in resalable condition. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Invoices

An invoice is issued for each confirmed order and sent by email to the address provided at checkout.

Disputes and mediation

In the event of a dispute, the customer is encouraged to contact the estate first via the contact form to seek an amicable resolution.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. In the absence of amicable resolution, French courts have sole jurisdiction.
