01

An estate of hillsides, stone and quiet work.

Clos Saint Conti sits a few metres from the remains of a Gallo-Roman city. The vines grow on rocky clay-limestone and clay-sandstone soils around Murviel-lès-Montpellier and Montarnaud.

Rocky soils made of clay, limestone and sandstone pebbles.

AOP Saint-Georges d'Orques, AOP Languedoc and IGP Collines de la Moure.

More than a dozen grape varieties, with several old vines over 60 years old.

02

A family estate, kept human-scale.

In the cellar and in the vines, the estate stays close to the people who run it. We lead farming choices, follow vinification and welcome visitors directly.

Vines, beehives and olive trees worked side by side, with small yields accepted as part of the work.

Traditional, natural vinification in the estate cellar in Murviel-lès-Montpellier.

Old methods are kept when they serve fruit, soil and clarity.

03

An estate managed like a living organism.

Living soil and cover crop between the rows

We work against soil depletion: no pesticides, no herbicides, lighter tillage and more organic matter. Biodiversity is not a slogan here; it shapes the daily gestures of the estate.

The estate's challenges

The estate focuses on four agricultural priorities: restoring fertility, reducing ecological impact, bringing biodiversity back and protecting the health of growers and consumers.

Living soils

Past high-yield farming depleted the land. Clos Saint Conti brings back organic matter through compost, stalks, shredded vine shoots and cover crops.

Lower impact

Short supply chains, no irrigation, limited tillage and a low-impact cellar guide the estate's decisions.

Biodiversity

Small parcels, maintained hedges, nest boxes and the removal of harmful products help birds, insects and soil life return.

Health

Synthetic chemical products have been removed for years to limit risks for people, wildlife and soils.

Soils fed with compost, crop residues, grape stalks and shredded vine shoots.

Small parcels, maintained hedges, nest boxes and habitats for useful wildlife.

Plants between rows after harvest to limit erosion.

No irrigation and natural vineyard protection methods.

Organic and biodynamic farming with Demeter approval.

Reduced tillage, both in frequency and depth, to protect soil life.

04

In the cellar, the same care as in the vines.

Clos Saint Conti vinifies its wines in its own cellar in Murviel-lès-Montpellier. The wines come from traditional, natural vinification aligned with organic and biodynamic requirements.

A cellar designed to reduce impact: insulation, partly underground structure, solar panels and rainwater recovery.

Separate vinifications in small vats according to grape varieties and parcels.

A search for the original taste of wine, away from industrial methods.

05

Through the seasons

The estate news tells a concrete story: pruning in March, shoot removal in spring, early-morning harvesting, but also olives, beehives and simple pairings with local produce.

Values first, not posture.

We defend a simple idea: produce less, produce rightly, preserve the land and let the wines speak of their place. That coherence gives the estate its familial, agricultural and direct character.

Rows of vines on the estate hillsides

In March, pruning wakes the vine and prepares the next harvest.

In spring, infertile shoots are removed so the vine can focus its energy.

The rosé Les Marie is harvested very early in the morning to preserve freshness and vitality.

Olive trees are grown naturally, with a small harvest of around 100kg of olives per year.

Beehives are placed away from intensive crops, without transhumance or sugar syrup.

Estate cooking favours local, seasonal produce, tapenade, olives and simple pairings.

06

A short, honest and plural range.

Age-worthy reds, precise whites and lively rosés all come from small plots vinified separately. Each cuvée carries a colour, a grape and a chosen gesture so the hillsides can speak for themselves.

Three colours worked here: structured reds from AOP Saint-Georges d'Orques, whites raised on fine lees, rosés picked at first light (Les Marie).

Signature grapes: Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre for the reds; Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and Muscat à Petits Grains for the whites.

Appellations covered: AOP Saint-Georges d'Orques, AOP Languedoc and IGP Collines de la Moure.

Plot-by-plot vinification in small vats, long French oak ageing when the wine asks for it, magnums and rare cuvées depending on cellar availability.
